Mungo

Today we got back from Mungo National Park where we saw kids doing aboriginal dances and went exploring in the sand dunes. We had a barbecue with some of the elders and some other students who are studying archaeology at LaTrobe University.

Tonight we will have a belated July 4th celebration. The owners of the hostel we are staying in are going to give us a barbecue, and from there we are going to a gallery opening that one of our professors is involved with, and probably going out to do some karaoke after that.

After tonight we have Friday to do some more downloading and editing of pictures from our first trip. Saturday morning we leave for our trip to the outback and will not be coming back until next Friday. We will be going to a variety of places when we are gone, and I will try to put some photos up on the blog when I return.

I have not been able to get my hands on any stamps because the grocery stores don't sell them and there are not a lot of places in walking distance. So if you don't receive a post card from me, I apologise!
